Yes it looks like you have a number 2098.

I don't know much about the company but for the information I have been able to gather with the 2 catalogs in my hand plus that collected on the web, I reckoned that :

It was founded in 1883. In the 30's and 50's it had a rather broad range of children pieces of furniture so my guess is that it was a well known company at least in Germany. It also manufactured doll's pieces of furniture. Same as childrens but smaller. I will release all the catalog pages in the coming year.

It does not exists as a self driven company anymore. Bought buy a company named Kettler. Herlag has just become a brand.

Thank you for your comment on my blog about the little wooden bench! So cool to learn a bit about where it comes from... I had no idea. Looks like we have a number 2098! I had never heard of Herlag before, is/was it a well-known company?
